I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

“Not dead yet!”

Couple of dates of import:

January 4th movers arrive at my house. I am currently up to my ears in brown boxes and Styrofoam peanuts so my 'net presence is sporadic at best.

January 8th, 2010, we FLY to Seattle and become official residents. (We closed on our house on Friday!) I'll be posting the new address in my profile and keeping it there for a bit for anyone who'd like to have it. For the time being, my cell phone number will remain the same and probably the best way to get hold of me.

There WILL be a housewarming party at some point, probably in February, details to come.

See y'all on the flip side!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hey y'all techie types -

If anyone knows anything about funding sources for MS certifications and the like, outside of federal grants, please hit me up at profile addy. Also, what's a reasonable price to pay for such training.

Ta very much.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

OK, leaving for my internship interview. Lots and lots of -ma would be greatly appreciated at getting them to realize what a great catch I'd be, which I truly believe to be The Truth.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I just wanted to let folks know my surgery went well. I've been napping and recovering. In a corset of sorts--or should I save that for Bitches?

Always Anti-fascist!

Could I get some medical -ma for Mom on Tuesday...she's having swelling in the armpit where she had her breast surgery...she's got pins and junk in there...it's probably not a big deal but good vibes are not amiss, and she's got the appointment Tuesday afternoon.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Two baby announcements in a row!

My sister Nora, who has posted here in the past as RahRah, just had her baby. He is 9lbs 6oz and is 21.5 inches long. She and her wife Kira are naming him Simon Felix.

I am sick, so we decided I shouldn't go to the hospital. I'm on tenterhooks waiting for a picture.

Yay! I'm an aunt.

Smart people can be stupid too

I don't we can really get away with two posts for one baby, but I can't resist the opportunity to chime in with more auntie-love for Simon!

He is *gorgeous* (and huge!) and RahRah and Kira are amazing.

Yay! I am also an aunt.
