My senior kitty -
anemic - which is not surprising because there are kidney problems -which we are going to xray/ultrasound for tomorrow
when we will also be discussing his diabetes.
While I have no idea where things are going to go ( a lot depends on his kidneys) I need some idea about dealing with a difficult cat and injections. As in two people to clip nails and the only medication I could get down him on my own- liquid

I'll be absent for the next few days as I make the summer migration to Otter Lake. Next post will be accompanied by cool breezes not provided by A/C. Try and hold down the chatter so I don't have thousands of posts to skip skim. Peace.
a little -no, a lot- of baby~ma and good care~ma and another couple of weeks~ma would be very appreciated for one of my best friends. She's been trying for a long time, her water broke waaay early, and she's now on bedrest in the city hospital, several hours from home. Any suggestions on ways to entertain/distract her also welcome here or at my profile addy.
There were shenanigans with United, but I am back in Chicago and at work. And, of course, I was told upon arriving at the office that I need to have a documentation project finished by July.
So. I'll be dark gray for a while.

Just as a related heads-up to Erin's post, there's another site out there that does the same thing called reunion.com. My daughter's e-mail contacts got hijacked by it, too.
thanks for everyone's good wishes for my friend! Baby was born this morning and is doing very well so far.
so, it seems that I'm always nursing these days and never have free hands to actually type. Lots of lurking, though.
Anyway, I'm looking into buying an Amby Baby Hammock and I seem to remember someone on this board using it or trading one or something. If I get one, I need to have it before I head back to PR so I'm looking for some fast input.
(I'm not sure this is Beep Me-worthy, but I'm thinking the F2F is this weekend so I wanted people to actually see this.)

Flying back to San Diego today since Dad is in the hospital. Just got a call from my sister. Apparently it's cancer. I don't really have more details than that.
