All is well that ends in pizza.

Hi Everyone, Just asking for some jobma on this job.

I applied before Christmas. this one would be a great opportunity.

I hope they at least interview me.

I am always applying for other work, but this one needs some concentration of the specific-job-type-ma.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Hey, Newyorkistas!

We have billytea in town for a few days. I'm thinking, roughly, Museum on Thursday, Zoo Friday, some other mayhem Saturday.

Drop me a note so we can get this show on the road. Woo Hoo!

Not javachik

Big huge health-ma requested today for Phyllis, long time friend of the Perkins' family and someone DX & I met in Maine and immediately adored. She's in a So. Cal. hospital with the flu and isn't expected to make it. Please visualize healthy clear lungs and overall health-ma for Phyllis!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Posting for Java Cat here: she just called to tell me that her mother is going to the hospital for complications from the flu. Java's meeting her at the ER and she would greatly appreciate any and all health-ma Buffistas can send her.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just got off the phone with both my mother and then Java cat. JavaCat's mom is going to be okay.

Phyllis died this afternoon.

I'm not deleting my account, but I've realized that I need to cut down on a few timesucks. This is one of them. I'll be extremely dark gray for at least a few weeks, if not longer. If you want to check in on me, my LiveJournal username is the same as my name here, and I'm a reciprocation slut when people add me to their Friends lists. (And yes, I'm going to be policing my LJ reading, but the people I follow are first priority when I read, so I will read you if you read me.)

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I have indeed arrived. London is wonderful, if a bit cold and gray, and my feet already hurt from all the museum-walking, but somehow I'll survive. Anyone who wants a postcard, e-mail me at my profile, and I'll try to get them out.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

I'm scheduled for a fetal assessment tomorrow so that the weight of the babe can be guesstimated. (The Blue Eyed Boy was so oversized that there's some concern this one - since second children are often bigger - may be truly enormous.) As well, due to an unusual combination of circumstances, this will actually be the first ultrasound I've had.

Now, this has been a completely uneventful pregnancy to date so there's no reason to be paranoid - but still, if the Buffistas can spare some "healthy, non-elephant-sized baby" vibes tomorrow afternoon, it would really help our peace of mind.

Thanks, everyone.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Hey. We're in the process of setting up our new computer. Which means our Internet access will be spotty for a couple of days at home.

In the mean time, we will be reachable by phone, smoke signal or carrier pigeon. Communication via mystical sigil will work well, but the use of ninja as courier is discouraged. As always, shouting really loud may not be effective, but is fun.
