A friend of mine from back home, now living in Houston is missing. He's 30, blond hair, blue eyes, dragon tats on his forearms. He's quiet and kinda shy. His name is Brian.

So, last week I requested jobma. I appreciate those that sent it. Apparently the HR person in the Portland, OR office thinks I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread. There appears to be a hang up in the Orlando, FL office, where I would actually be working. I was supposed to have an in-person interview in the office last Monday afternoon, but that morning it was changed to a phone interview. After waiting all week to hear back for an actual offer, I was told by the recruiter setting all this up (who is rather surprised by this turn of events) that they now want to do an in-person interview, with a teleconference with the person in Portland. But not until next Monday.
In the meantime, I did interview for another position last Friday, but I'm not as interested in that position.
Anyway, thanks for the jobma, and I would appreciate any extra that can be spared. I also could use some sanity-ma as I am about to lose my mind!
House-ma galore. please. We looked at an adorable, funky guest house in a charming neighborhood with the sweetest landlord in the world today--it's only $950 a month, which would give us lots more cash each month to pay off all debts and to do fun things. Fingers crossed that he accepts our application and we pass the credit check!

Bec and I are off to Australia tomorrow. Not sure when we'll be back. Depends on how long it takes for the Consulate to process our visa. We'll be attending a wedding, and I have a job interview in Sydney.

My Uncle John, oldest of his eight siblings and known fondly as "The Shepherd", has had a heart attack and is awating bypass surgery.
