I hate to break it to you, oh impotent one, but you're not the big bad anymore, you're not even the kind of naughty.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Got off the phone with my mother a short while ago.

My grandmother died last night at about 1 in the morning. She was 87.

Another social casualty...

I would like to request the patented Buffista jobma at 2:00 Eastern time today. I've got an interview for a job that sounds really challenging and interesting. And I'm really ready to go back to work now.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

After tonight, I'll be mostly dark as I head West. Will be checking my e-mail, and will be calling my secret ninja contacts in the LAista scene when I'm over there.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

FEMALE NEWYORKISTAS!

(my apologies if this is an abuse of the thread)

Turns out I am NOT working tomorrow, anybody up to the baths tomorrow morning? Call my service 212 560-7306 if you can go out and play.

(maybe this isn't an abuse if the rest of you just hold in your hearts the knowledge that we will be sweaty, naked, and covered in mud)

I don't especially need sympathy, because at this point, the inappropriate humour part of me has kicked in, and I can't stop giggling, but it would appear that my Great-Aunt Stella, Gram's sister, passed away this morning.

I would, however, appreciate a "No More Dead Relatives For at Least a Few Years" ~ma.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I passed the New York Bar!

Hey LAistas! I just bought tickets to come to LA, Dec 10-16th! What else to do with unemployment, eh? So let me know if you wanna have fun! Er, with me, preferably.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I've been largely dark the past week because it's Fundraising Week at WMBR, the radio station I work at. If you've listened to WMBR in the past year, please consider donating (I host Breakfast of Champions - Friday).

In related news, I raised over $5500 during my two-hour program this morning. Go team me!
