Showing the differences of memories in Bitches:
JZ: After golloping down all these posts, I simply must know...did Pete actually kick the ground when he first told Jilli he fancied her? Because that's so unbelievably adorable that my insides are turning to oatmeal with heavy cream and maple syrup right now just thinking about it.
Did he duck his head and shuffle his feet too? Did he? I may die right here and now.
Jilli: JZ, he looked at his feet and kinda scuffled them while saying "Well, I guess you know that I fancy you". Yes, very adorable.
Pete: Sorry, JZ, but no. We were on a stairwell at the time. I think we were both seated
paperdol in Natter:
mommy people, noah ate half of what i'm supposed to feed him, and i've been trying to burp him, but he instead farted and passed out.
gas is gas, right?
Note: She can totally babysit for me, anytime she wants.
From Lightbulb...

billytea in the book club thread (not at all spoilery)
when I was six and a group of psychologists stuck myself and two of my brothers in a room and told us each to draw our family, I drew the life cycle of the echidna. (My older brother drew our grandmother playing rugby, my younger brother a bunch of unrelated people being eaten by a shark.) Echidnas and me, that's where the history is.
shrift in Natter:
My purse is roomy. I have Vampire People in there, Timmy the iPod, my wallet, a notebook, cell phone, some smokes, lipstick, and an umbrella. Like a Mary Poppins for the digital age, if Mary Poppins swore like a longshoreman, wrote porn, and didn't particularly like children.
billytea again, in Book Club, again:
What do you suppose Voldemort's Patronus is? An Albanian?
I almost choked myself, in Natter:
Zenkitty: I am choking on an apple.
Laura: virtual Heimlich
more Zenkitty:
I propose Formal Mondays, the opposite of Casual Fridays. If other people can wear what looks like pajamas at my workplace on Fridays, I ought to be able to walk in on a Monday wearing a gown and tiara.
In Bureaucracy--
amych: I was dismembering, in that case. Thank you.
