Oh Trudy - why the context. It's much funnier without context.

From Quoteables:
Wolfram: definitely D'Hoffryn
Sue: That sounds like the new sitcom from the creators of Suddenly Susan.
Wolfram: Now I'm picturing a creepy giant D'Hoffryn poking his head into windows with a silly grin and campy theme song playing in the backround.
Sue: He's a newly divorced vengeance demon starting over in the big city, and looking for love (and a little vengeance.)
Ginger in the Firefly thread:
Looking at linoleum makes me want to watch some episodes of Firefly again.
Because it's true!
Even better with the lead-in, I think:
Sean K: All this talk of Gina makes me want to watch some episodes of Firefly again.
Ginger: Looking at linoleum makes me want to watch some episodes of Firefly again.
Maysa, in Moooovies
I have no patience for people who get involved with incestuous fraternal twins. They have to know that it never ends well.
Aimee: The scary thing about porn names? That your siblings most likely share them.
amych: I can't look at Sideshow Bob Carrot Top Marsters without imagining River's reaction. Or, you know, having it myself.
Curse, you, wee Shawn! I was just heading over here to post that!
Karl in Bitches, regarding the merits of Halle Berry and Angela Bassett:
It is possible that I am letting personal biases colour my judgement here, of course. But I regard a comparion between these two women as something like a comparison between Helen Mirren and Posh Spice. Sure, one gets a lot of drooling magazine coverage, but staying power? Not so much.
Posh Spice is doing very well for herself, actually.
