Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

In Angel, I think, though it was OT:

joe boucher : Don't want the poster, but I thought the Olsen Twins Jailbait Countdown website was very funny. Sure, sure it was wrong, but it was still funny. Just a picture of the twins and a clock counting down.

billytea: There's part of me that thinks, hang on, wouldn't they be legal at 16 in most states? What else might he be waiting for? Is he counting down to the day they can vote? "The Olsen twins will save my nation."

... Yeah. they should put that at the bottom of the website.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

In Natter --

CaBil:
Very patient and caring, since he could and should have had her stoned, according to the laws of that time.

Sophia:
I was skimming, and somehow I thought you meant Joseph was high.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

In Natter...

Heather : Oprah's doing a damn good show, if a little one-sided.

Sophia: Is it about hyenas having sex? Because if so, I am turning it on right now. I am very curious.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ted R in Angel:

Liked it, didn't love it. But now I finally understand what Futures Trading is.

Nobody

OK, then, the vowel in "ball," to me, is the same as the one in "sort", whereas the one in "Bali" is the same as the one in "fart" (removing the "r" sounds in both cases). Does that help? Because I refuse to believe that "sort" can rhyme with "fart."

edited to make it, hopefully, clearer

Angus G in Natter. I think it's just my warped mind - but for me it was the

edited to make it, hopefully, clearer

that made it all funny.

(and no Angus, you're right, because "sort" should rhyme with "fort" which shouldn't be a homophone for the other word)

Not javachik

Nutty, in Literary:

I read two pages of Foucault's Pendulum. And then my brain shorted out and I had to read picture books for a while, just to get the hang of how normal people use sentences.

Also, I kept wondering how a dead French leather queen had invented the pendulum in between critiques of western civilization.

Hey. I was 18 or so.
