OK, then, the vowel in "ball," to me, is the same as the one in "sort", whereas the one in "Bali" is the same as the one in "fart" (removing the "r" sounds in both cases). Does that help? Because I refuse to believe that "sort" can rhyme with "fart."

Nutty, in Literary:
I read two pages of Foucault's Pendulum. And then my brain shorted out and I had to read picture books for a while, just to get the hang of how normal people use sentences.
Also, I kept wondering how a dead French leather queen had invented the pendulum in between critiques of western civilization.
