Well Done Show!
Oh, absolutely! I love game-changing twists like that, but it's not many manage to pull them off.
Don't know about the tattooist in Heroes (I gave up after S2) but the one in Misfits was called Vince.
FutureSimon not only helped the others find Nathan, he also rescued Nathan from the brainwashed teens at the end of S1. But that's what I meant with a closed cause-and-effect temporal loop. I think there
isn't
a future where Nathan is nabbed/left in his grave/Curtis suffocates etc. because FutureSimon knows exactly what he has to do, as Simon has already witnessed it. FS even says as much: "Everything that happens to him has already happened to me". Simon just has to get to the point where he realises his new role. I wonder how he managed the time-travel...?
Some random thoughts which occurred to me last night on rewatch:
All of the photographs in FutureSimon's base are of the others. Meaning that he took the pictures (which ties in with him filming everything last season).
I loved the Pulp Fiction moment with the epi-pen.
Nice of them to show Nathan's inept fumblings straight after FutureSimon's expert lovemaking. I know which one I'd prefer....
I'm probably going to have to sign out of this thread for a bit. I don't think I'm going to be able to watch tonight's episode of Misfits until Sunday at the earliest.
Have fun!
OMG. I am officially, completely and totally in love with Misfits. AGAIN, I did not see that coming.
Frankly, I'm a little nervous that it can't get any better than this!
I was simultaneously charmed and horrified that
the actor playing the video game guy did an awesome job playing a video game guy
!
I loved every beat of it.
Well, I caved and watched it today when I should have been working. Bad show!
So, farewell then,
FutureSimon, we hardly knew you.
Though in fairness it would possibly have been hard to sustain over many more episodes. I don't envy
Alisha, though, living with that knowledge through the whole of their relationship
.
I agree, bonny,
VideoGameGuy was awesome
.
Fucking A, that was marvellous.
is anyone else reminded of this Catherine Tate character when watching Lauren Socha on Misfits?

so far this is the best Alisha/Simon fanvid i've come across. [link]
tiggy, I'm not much for fanvids, as a rule, but that one is gorgeous. Thanks!
is anyone else reminded of this Catherine Tate character
Tiggy, that's the first thing that came to my mind when I first watched Misfits!
I *like* the Catherine Tate character so much more than Kelly. What is her accent? Why is she always yelling?
She drives me more bananas than Nathan, which isn't right.
