You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

"She Shook Me All Night Long" - because, Australians = sexay. Plus mention of American thighs, so you had that cross-cultural thing going.

Excellent point. Gotta promote the cross-cultural thing.

t refrains from suggesting that 'American thighs' first calls to mind KFC

Have you seen the "Hurt" video? I downloaded it from Romanek's site and I still cry every time I see it.

Yes. Between his version of the song, and the video that accompanies it, Cash proves that Trent Reznor's understanding of pain is sunshine, puppy dogs, rainbows, and butterflies.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hear, hear. Looked at the right way, Cash is a Goth with a bolo tie....

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

DVDBoxoffice.com has a listing for Firefly ... complete with a cover pic.

I've never used DVDBO but my mate has and reckons they're great. The price includes postage. The price works out to 48USD or 70AuD.

Thanks for all the fish.

That's the most detail I've seen! Fantastic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why is he alone on the cover????

HEADS UP arse -- if you're a Seven executive

Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth are finally getting Miracles. It starts on Monday at 10:30PM.

ETA - I've been meaning to mention this for a couple of weeks: In their infinite wisdom, Channel 9 have elected to screen Witchblade at 1:30AM (2AM in Perth) on Wednesday nights. I finally caught an episode last night and it wasn't too bad -- it certainly didn't deserve such a late timeslot. Of course, this is from the station that puts DS9 on after midnight and moved Enterprise to 11:30PM and put the exceptionally unfunny, Merrick & Rosso, in its place.

Not that I give a rat's arse about Enterprise but there is a principle involved here; how shamefully are they going to treat Firefly?

(prediction: so shamefully that I probably won't bother watching it, especially if it gets screened within a week prior to the DVD release, which I'll be ordering)
