So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

She's posted a couple times already, IIRC. I expect more (though still dark) when all is regular.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

So it's as good as it looked to be?

Oh yes. Tom Baker as the blind monk demon hunter.

Grr.

I want it now, which, of course, means I'll never get to see it in the states, because it's all going to be Father Ted reruns and Manchild the way my TV luck goes.

Yeah, my stereo's been playing Johnny Cash all morning. His version of Nick Cave's "Mercy Seat" is wonderful.

Have you seen the "Hurt" video? I downloaded it from Romanek's site and I still cry every time I see it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Took Emmett to see a baseball game yesterday at Pac Bell Park (home of the SF Giants). It was Australian-American day! They had an Aussie sing "Take Me Out To the Ballgame! Then they played AC/DC. No kangaroos were invoked in the celebration of this very special moment. Also Giants won. Anyway, I thought of the UnAmericans.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This makes me happy. Not that I have anything against kangaroos, but a bit of variety doesn't hurt.

What AC/DC did they play?

"She Shook Me All Night Long" - because, Australians = sexay. Plus mention of American thighs, so you had that cross-cultural thing going.
