Uh, no. `We are early 1600s. 2nd thread is 10,000. And that is a really good straight line. I'll leave it for someone else to follow up on.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Huh. I just found out that the actual real Ray's will ship pizzas by FedEx to anywhere within the continental US. I cannot see how they can possibly still taste like pizza after being out of the oven for that long.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Me, I'm terrified of not fact checking before talking to these folks.

Ayup.

I see the BP combo and I think J'ca, Australia and Brazil and then BP. I find the green/yellow combination very very evocative. But I'm way used to confusing it by now.

Hey, now that would be interesting, to see BP trying to trademark the green and gold in Australia. (They do have a significant presence there, and are the only oil company that I recall using those colours.)

Changing the subject entirely, does anyone know what a good price would be for a NYC-Dublin round trip ticket in June? The best I'm finding now is $460, but I feel like I should be able to do much better than that.

And, I just realized that I have no idea what the BP logo looks like. So I guess I'm no good as a test for "what do you associate those colors with?"

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Actually, I understand even better refusing protection to Petrobras having seen the bp mark; color is all that's distinctive about it.

They've never had much of a presence in the U.S., though I've been noticing some advertising recently.

Interestingly, I saw a BP station this weekend in the Poconos. Not that common, they don't appear to be very big in the Philadelphia region.

Interesting logic. The less distinctive your trademark is, the more possiblities you can exclude for your competitor. I think I'm going trademark the color black.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

BP became very common in the Seattle area about a decade ago, and last year vanished in a flurry of rebranding to become Exxon again. I think. I know it was Exxon that switched to BP.

It's hard to keep track.
