A Scot! I grew up in Scotland, Zoe. I even went to school near Edinburgh for a couple of years. (I live in Germany now, though).
(FTR, I love the UnAmerican name, although I've never been wild about the Anya quote.)

I know one person who fled this page because of the thread titles, but that was because she thought we were trashing the shows since the titles were humorous and mocking. I could understand someone reading it and being offended, but if they took the time to read the thread, they'd get that the title wasn't really indicative...hmm, this is reminding me about that whole thing about people who won't watch BtVS because they can't get past the title.
Actually, the title could seem confusing, since there are a lot of people living in America who now define themselves as un-American - in fact I often refer to myself as a member of the axle of evil. Or one could even interpret the "all ogle - no cash" as this being the thread for links to free porn.

Er, just for the record: My parents were victims of the McCarthy Era. Actually lost everything and had to start over because of it. And a great many of my family's closest friends suffered in similar ways. And I never for a moment found the title even slightly offensive. But, you know, that's just me.
