Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, guys. I can only hope it gets lost in a sea of similar letters, but adds to the weight.

The dude needs some therapy

I can't even read articles about him. God, I miss when I liked his stuff.

He's certainly bonkers, but that piece is a bit odd, too, what with calling him an "undisputed genius" who is "at the height of his cultural influence."

I mean, yes, they let him direct The Spirit... and it bombed. He did give us the Goddamn Batman, but that's still a level of influence well below Twilight Sparkle's.

That's why we need superheroes.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Nielsen survey about DC's 52, for people who bought any.

Cool -- thanks for that link. I gladly filled it out.

Glad to share. I pasted in my letter to the editor, as well as other "WHY??? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU GUYS???" verbiage.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Huh, it informed me I didn't qualify for the survey at the end. I guess they're metaphorically covering their ears and going "la la la" when respondents aren't buying any DC Comics.

I get that the pool they're looking for is about the 52 comics purchasers and how they feel about it. From the perspective of someone who's bought, I felt I got a lot of room to be specific about the titles I bought and those I intended to continue with, or not. There are a bunch of questions you couldn't have answered.
