Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, yeah. I'm sure it's not the flu, but ick. And so unexpected!

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Seekrit message to Cashmere: I suck. Hope the concert was good.

Punctuation for all, especially Gud, as he seems to not deserve so much unhappiness.

I am taking care of two cats this week, while my old roommate sorts out issues with his current roommate. Allergies notwithstanding, they're entertaining to have around, though now that the younger one has matured they look exactly. the. same. Both black, only difference is that Sage has greenish eyes, while Charcoal's are more golden.

I think, however, that I've discovered I'm not a cat person. I feel like such a heathen. I think maybe I'm not a pet person in general, and it makes me sad.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

We've done counseling and such, so issues have been discussed. But yeah, I'm not always very good at communicating my frustrations. OTOH, when I do it often makes matters much, much worse than just letting things blow over. I always feel guilty when I post something here when I'm frustrated, but it's the only place I've got. I will try to use more discretion though.

Oh, Gud. I just ache for you.

Maybe a therapist just for you would be a good thing. As your invisible friend I, naturally, think she's being utterly unreasonable, etc. And maybe she is. And maybe she isn't. But if you work with someone actually trained in such things that could be a valid perspective. And that could be someone who could help you find ways to assert yourself. And that could be a place for YOU to be frustrated and angry and yet not have to feel guilty. You take such good care of all the people around you, maybe its your turn to be cared for.

Always Anti-fascist!

Gud, personally I just wanted you to know I still don't think you did anything wrong by letting your daughter see you be sad.(I'm sorry you're sad, though, and I hope something changes about that soonest.) But if fate needs a nudge, Hec does teach young, active, can't-be-held-fully-responsible people to swing baseball bats. IJS.

What?
