[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I am! And sort of following along everything dazedly.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm here.

The status is NOT quo.

I just realized I was pulling a Piglet.

"Pooh!" he whispered. "Yes, Piglet?" "Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you."

I just wanted to be sure of all of you. Thanks.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm trying to pretend I'm not here as I am in desperate need of sleep. To help one of the overnight staff at the group home I've been training at, I'm going in at 5am this morning. I went in at 5am yesterday morning to learn the routine for getting the residents up and ready for the day, leaving at 7am. Had to be back for another shift this afternoon from 2pm-9pm. My body clock does NOT shut down for sleep until about 2am, at which point yesterday, I was too afraid that if I did fall asleep I would not wake up on time to get to work. I took some diphenhydramine yesterday morning, which helped me to get all of 3 1/2 hours of sleep in between. Tonight I took more, and went to bed at quarter after ten. So basically I have no reason to believe I will be getting any more sleep.

Can I be dead now, please?

Ok, I'm going to drink a glass of water, imbue a tissue with insomnia-relieving essential oils, listen to a 30 min. guided meditation (cuz the 15 min one didn't do the trick earlier) and try again.

Hope everyone else is getting the rest you need.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

here, but heading to bed. Much more board time, I hate to miss anything.

however, still a bit short on sleep and tomorrow I get the honor and priviledge of going back to work. on a wednesday. which we call wacky, because somehow, they are unpredictable and often wild. Plus , there is that dentist appointment that I am trying to forget.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

If Daniel's snoring, I don't feel willing to take responsibility for giving you ideas.

Nah, he's quiet tonight. It's the whole actually needing sleep thing that means I won't be getting any. Can I be dead now?

I can't sleep either. Haven't really been able to for the past few nights. I think I'm over-stressed. And my wrist hurts.
