No, particularly considering I caved and took the kids to McDonald's. Ben has a game in 25 minutes or so. It was the only way to feed them without making myself nuts. I pre-atoned by going to the good produce stand and buying food with food in it (mostly fresh fruit and salad stuffs), though.

Audible yawning at this point in training. I am reduced to hijacking my neighbour's got-a-question-right candy. And I don't even like Reese's Pieces. We so need a break. If I hadn't been checking work email, I'd have fallen asleep by now.

Today was just kinda..bleah. I've had worse days, but I've also had better. At least the weather's nice.

There are about ten police cars parked in front of our building. The police are ordering two people out of a van at gunpoint.

Weird.

eta: Suspects are in custody. I was standing behind our front door, and a cop was standing behind a tree about seven feet from me with his gun drawn. I went to our other door and there was a cop in our parking lot standing behind one of our tenant's cars with his gun drawn, about four feet from the door.
