Frist doesn't strike me as a very charismatic guy, I think he'd be very defeatable. Plus he's a senator which means there's a big track record of votes that can be used against him fairly and unfairly.

Sorry, Jess. I just use my parents as a Republican gauge--they're pretty typical. They loved and voted for W (although the shine is coming off him in my mom's eyes). And, they both really dig Frist. Of course, he is their senator, but I still think they're a fairly accurate gauge.
