Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

BTW, Pat Kiernan is hosting VH1's new game show, The World Series of Pop Culture.

Love it! Oh, Pat, your Canadian gravitas makes my morning.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Even better! They're taping this weekend! Anyone interested in going?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So there's more than one penis land? Now I'm wondering if they'll ever go to war... I'm picturing thousands of penises wearing helmets, marching off to battle....

shutting up now....

Aircraft design experts say the next evolution in seat design could be a standing-room-only model, allowing for even closer row spacing.

Gawd, the thought of standing for even an hour long flight is horrifying to me....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think natural selection is going to take care of that particular evolution of the airplane.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Aircraft design experts can bite me.

Ann, that's a ferret.

The news may not be as bad as the NYT says.

NBC News ran a segment on that story last night. They said they contacted Airbus, who said that the "leaning-seat" idea was raised and rejected.

Which isn't to defend the increase from 8 seats across to 9 seats across.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

PMM could consult. Her judgement has worked for me.

I have a nice collection of Wet Gillian Anderson pictures that I could send in... then there's the Asia Argento folder.

Strega, the people she was discussing it with did. So that's why she made the distinction. As for the paid/not paid line, it was similarly responding in context to people slamming fanfic (as in working in someone else's world) for being not real and uncreative. So she was citing instances in which we already accepted something 'derivative' as worthy in its own right.

Yeah, it's about the fifth go-round of the argument this year.

Doesn't Mr. All Fanfic is Evil and Blows write crappy tie-in novels or something? I get my Fandom Wanks confused when they pile up.

sarameg, many kitty get well wishes. Poor Mister Kitty.

Gronk. Coffee has started tasting like water again. Guess that giving up on cutting down wound up leading to increased consumption. Or I've just been tired this week and in need of the extra boost.

Go Isaac, it's your birthday!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, Isaac!

Cindy, he feels like a one year old to me, on account of Burrell being my due date almost-twin last year.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Lee Goldberg. And yes, yes he does. He writes tie-in novels for Monk.
