I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

# In Fairbanks, Alaska, it is illegal to give beer to a moose.

That would be drunk droving.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

(Damnit, Aimee, I work in an OPEN PLAN OFFICE.)

So do I my love, so do I.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yeah, because debates never happen here.

It seemed a bit harsh is all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This isn't just polygluttonous perversity?
Show-off. [makes note to use that later]

Well, some of it is. I am fussy, though I've gotten somewhat better as I got older. I discovered I can eat raw spinach, although my tolerance for it is pretty low. Cooked spinach is another bad smell, plus a disgusting texture, bleh. But I quite like cooked spinach as an ingredient in some dishes. Much to my surprise.

Spidra, did you feel it was a bit harsh? If so, I do apologise. From where I was standing, I was engaging in a bit of teardown for edification purposes.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Are there two ells in the root word?

Don't ask me, I just copy-paste.

You know what's sad? I could hardly tolerate heat in chile until shortly before I moved away from practically the source of the best green chile ever. That's just not right,

If your assertion is "clearly," then you're some proof short of a point, I think. I don't think it's clear at all, and in fact contradicts the article, as noted. If it's less clear and more an opinion, then that's different to me.

Seemed less than friendly to me. I have no idea how Spidra felt about it.

I do know she apologized to "Spidra, I honestly don't know what answer you're expecting to hear." earlier which stuck me as odd because Spidra's thinking the sandwich was more style than substance isn't what seemed on the rude side to me.

It's less and less pleasant to be here these days and for no good reason.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I just felt I was in a no-win situation there. I wasn't gunning for a debate but if I responded as if I were in a debate, I ran the risk of seeming like I was attacking others. And if I didn't respond, then I feel like it's just assumed my statement is completely unfounded.

I think debate would feel fairly comfortable to me (I am the daughter of an attorney so the house was full of it...so to speak) if I were more sure of my place here. I still feel a bit on the outside looking in.

Anyway, I'll just reiterate that it's damned near never my intention to needle or offend folks so I apologize if that's the effect my posts had.
