We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I don't get it, Allyson. If our office manager left, we'd be DOOMED and we know it. How can your people not understand this vital piece of information?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

We're all pretty interchangeable. I'm easily replaceable. I know it, they know it.

Which isn't to say that most of the time, I like my guys just fine. I can bitch about them, but if anyone else does, I throw down.

They're MY crazy ingrates.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Also I presume the hate for complaining is when they seem to be holding you responsible for stuff. You are probably OK with a little venting if they make it clear that this is what it is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

doesn't "world's ugliest dog" imply the dog should look mutant?

No, it implies the dog should look ugly.

I have a migraine. If this verges into tomorrow, I'm going to CRY. Worked from home yesterday, had another crap morning this morning so just called in sick. My brain just won't balance the horizon till noon. By two or three I'm just fine! Like it'd never happened.

Stuff sucks.

A bunch of people have suggested Muscle Milk as a good protein drink. I decided not to try it because it has artificial sweeteners, and they give me migraines. Someone asked if sucralose does, because that's all it has. And sucralose is very different from aspartame.

For some reason I managed to down one of those while having this migraine. Now is not a good time to test, and the thing tasted like slippery crap. I hope that bad taste isn't a migraine trigger bad taste.

Taught two classes today. Was evaluated in one. Wasn't perfect.

Hmmph.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Bones: "Jesus is NOT a zombie!" Bwah!

Alias was very entertaining. Why is it always so cool to see Amy Acker playing a badass ?

What is even happening?

Foreign nationals are the worst bitching at me about security requirements. I asked one guy two weeks ago if he'd like the number to the White House to bitch at the appropriate party.

Seriously, I have no idea why I haven't been fired.

Because they've been dealing with all the other non-sciencey humans their whole lives, and some small part of them knows they're not going to find someone else who does all you do, and puts up with them, and reminds them to close doors, and such.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Wheeeee! ALIAS! Amy Acker in the Credits! Weiss! Jack getting info the Spy Daddy way!

I'm with Jessica on being kinda meh on Vaughn being back. Does this mean he and Irina are working together on something (since she seemed to be the responsible party for his "death" and who else would have gotten word back about his daughter to him so quickly)?

Also, previews from next week: Evil!Francie and Will in da house. Possibly meh on EF being still alive too, but good to see familiar faces nonetheless. Now they just need to bring on Gina Torres and Sark for a last go around.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

There's been lots of Scientology talk in the news what with the birth of Suri.

To celebrate, I've been walking around the office spouting "All hail Lord Xenu!"

It's probably good that I only have three officemates.

Trust my rage

I don't know why I'm so interested in this, but apparently Katie Holmes and Brooke Shields gave birth at the same hospital on the same day. [link]

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Frank, I read it as Syd and Jack helped Vaughn to fake his death so that Prophet 5 would stop chasing him. (Which explains what the "Dad?" "I'll take care of it" was relating to.) I'm pretty sure Irina doesn't know he's alive.
