Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The 100 unsexiest men in the world

Robert Patrick does NOT belong on that list.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If I had a BB gun, there would be a lot of dead birds in my neighborhood. They've been waking me up at 6:30 for DAYS. Mostly I go back to sleep, but still.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

There are squirrels in lurve outside my window.

Argh! Don't let 'em breed. Throw a bucket of water on them! Give them a pamphlet on the joys of abstinence. Do something. Anything.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I do feel a little better, thanks.

I'm down with offing the squirrels, and the birds that were chirping outside my window at 5:00 this morning. They are sooo ON THE LIST.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Very little deters squirrels in lurve, sorry.

Radioactive acorns?

Although you might not consider giant mutant squirrels to be an improvement....
