I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I like the brown rice sushi they have at Whole Foods. I'm not a sushi aficiando (OMG, that is so spelled wrong) so it worked for me.

People who don't like seafood = CRAXY

HEY.

I'll eat shrimp. And some kinds of bland white fish. Smoked salmon is ok in small doses, and I'm ok with tuna. You can take the rest far far away from me. I don't like the taste, I don't like the texture and if it is more than a millisecond off fresh, the smell makes me urky.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I didn't remember to bring my lunch today, so I don't know what I'm having. Either Jack in the box or sushi, I suspect.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

This all reminds me that I need to pick up some chopped liver and matzo at Canter's for Passover tomorrow.

You've located a good source? I was going to bring chopped liver to the F2F along with bagels in part because you liked it so when we shipped it out there after LA

Hell, I know that. I'm from Maine and I don't like seafood (nope, not even lobster). Partly taste, partly smell and a whole lot of texture issues.

I mean, I wish I liked broccoli, as it is one of those mega-good-for-you veggies, but it literally makes me gag. A lot of things in that particular family of veg do (brussell sprouts - those vile balls of nasty - being one of the other big offenders).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I always forget that I like seafood as much as I do. I did have sushi for lunch, but it was light on the fish, actually.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Upon further inspection, the main problem with this brown rice sushi is that brown rice is WAY TOO STICKY. The rolls are sticking together and unrolling when I pick them up. Chaos!

So those would be "Loki rolls" then?

The trees AND the stems?

Because when sitting small children I find most can tolerate one or the other.

With the trees it's all in the flavor; with the stems, it's the texture AND the flavor. If it's basically ground up and in something (like a stuffing for chicken breasts), I don't gag, but I can taste it and I don't like it at all. I can even taste it if I eat just the beef in beef & brocolli, because the flavor's worked it's way into the sauce.
