Don't you have an elsewhere to be?

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Hec, is there any chance that your source is just mistaken? Not that she had malice, but just got it wrong? In any case, much ~ma because I'm sure you must be on tenterhooks.

{{{vw}}} and ~ma to all those who need it.

Punishingly Intricate

Brenda, is it okay to pass the request for craxy boss stories on to friends? I personally have (thank dogs) no real crazy boss stories (yet) but I have a friend (who is also a very good writer) who has a couple of doozies.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yes, please do!

Thanks, Laura!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I always wanted a style like this:

I want you to have that style! Maybe we need to find you a more better stylist.

Hec, is there any chance that your source is just mistaken?

Really unlikely. My source heard it directly from one of my other bosses. It wasn't ambiguous either. "He's going to be fired at the end of the month. Nothing he can do about it. It's already been decided. Minimal severance." My source would have no motive to mislead me. To the contrary.

I think my nice boss is being kept in the dark. She was overruled when LA Boss nixed the hire of my minion.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yesterday on Sesame Street we had the Body Image Demon Battling Snuffy.

Today?

Destiny's Child teaching them to walk.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Herding cats for fun

Must go prepare my own personal Insane Boss story and heap it with extra bitterness and malice.

whaps Epic

Why do always come in here and correct me??

Duh! Cause I'm always wrong.

Destiny's Child was teaching Zoe, Elmo, and Grover to walk. Mind you, a few months ago, Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child ate it on stage while walking. Face plant in front of a billion people.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Why do the BID's need Beyonce et al to teach them to walk?

Because of their body image isues. They walk hunched over, trying desperately not to draw attention to themselves. They need to learn to strut, they need a walk that says "Check up on it - my body's too bootylicious!!"
