That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Pain management kicked my ass. I may take a sick day. Who likes to go into the office after crying? Not me, for sure.

ita, I think you should take the sick day.

Also, please consider yourself mothered in abstentia this week, okay?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Most of RI is not availible on Zillow yet.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Zillow could only get me the assesed value of my mother's house-- and it is only 62K for house and land. She was very upset because it has gone up 10K in the past few years, but looking at the prices around her, she doesn't have much to complain about as it is MUCH lower that the house next door (114K) even though it has more bedrooms.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, take the sick day.

Zillow can't find my parents' house, although it has the house on the corner and some down the street. I wonder if that's because it hasn't sold in so long?

Coding and Sleeping

My old house is there. We bought it for $45,000 in 1995, sold it for $67,000 in 2000, and Zillow says it's worth $108,000 now. I would say $80,000 would be a lot more realistic. Oddly Zillow says it is a 3 BR, 2 BA house, but it is a 3 BR, 1 BA.

My mom's house isn't listed, but I thought to check out the house I grew up in. I know that Dad and Mom bought it for $35K back in 1969, and according to zillow, it's $174K now. Not bad for a 1500 sq.ft. 3BR/2BA ranch house with a 1-car garage.

Good lord, Kathy -- they have my parents' neighbors' 2171 sq. ft. 3 bedroom at $615K.
