You can have em. Carrots should not be grey. Meat? Should never be grey.

My people? Lousy cooks.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

No kidding. No matter how many times I have made corned beef and cabbage and carrots, it's NEVER turned grey.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No kidding. No matter how many times I have made corned beef and cabbage and carrots, it's NEVER turned grey.

My dad can do it! And as a bonus, the smell lasts for weeks!

I just try and avoid cabbage (easy enough in Jamaican food) and corned beef (less so, but we had a low sodium household).

Right? Not quite the picture I had in my head from the books, but that's quite all right.

I blame James McAvoy for the wrong thoughts I'm having.

This made me gasp with knowing laughter. Oh. my. gods. The Smell!! It's like a character from the Legion of Doom. Indestructible!

Mmm. Your thoughts are never wrong, shrift, except for the ones that keep you in Michigan.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I have three words for you-

Irish Soda Bread.

A wedge lightly toasted with butter....heaven.
