Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Frail my heart apart and play me a little Shady Grove

From Gud's link: I've forgotten my stats terms, but on the two charts the difference between the min and the max for the women's numbers is very low, resulting in a fairly smooth line across the graph. Isn't there a term for that?

Anyway, I find it interesting that it's pretty much the same for women both as offenders and victims.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I say semi-colon. The second bit is a gramatically complete sentence.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My head still hurts, and I am wearing new shoes that are very clackity.

Oddly, I blame shrift for this, since she was the one that originally predicted that yesterday/Monday was never going to end.

"Hey! You got another black eye!"
"It wasn't krav."
"Really? You have to leave him."
"I can't! I tried but...I wish I knew how to quit him."

Comedy gold people, comedy gold.

Now the same co-worker is IMing me and calling me liar, and that I must have gotten into a relationship and won't admit it.

eta: Now he's calling me Cristina Yang. I should have stayed home.
