"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Plus a few false alarms ("Bomb went off at the State Department", etc)

I remember that calming me down, oddly. I was in traffic next to the State Department when that report came out. I looked over and said "no, it's fine". it calmed me down because I realized that they were reporting anything that they could get their hands on.

I remember the Challenger very well. Nick and I were leaving 5th period (stephanie, did you go to HS in Norther Virginia :) ) and our friend Robby walked up to us and said "oh my god, you guys, the Challenger blew up" and we were like "whatever, Robby, you're full of shit", and then continued down the stairs to Earth Science, and Mr. Hicks had the TV on to the launch and we watched explode over and over again.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, my:

ABC's hospital drama Grey's Anatomy, which has already benefited greatly from having the hit Desperate Housewives precede it on Sunday nights, will get another boost come Feb. 5 when it airs following the Super Bowl. Peter Horton, who directed the episode told today's (Thursday) Denver Post that it will be "sort of like a regular Grey's Anatomy on testosterone and on speed."

Hey, can anyone who saw Bones tell me how Special Agent Tricia Finn looked?

Dude! IMDB is doing episode pages! Rock on. Also, bye bye tv.com. I'm hoping.

TVTome.com was slow but good. tv.com is so annoying that I've just about stopped using the service.

SEE THAT RANT ABOUT CHANGING ALL THE TIME.

Apparently it dropped 62% in ratings, so you might not have been the only one. Not sure how the ratings compared to its normal viewership, though.

If I had a pony, I think I'd want one of these too. Maybe not in that color.

I just thought that it was funny that it was happening as both of us were changing classes.
