Jayne: Well... I don't like the idea of someone hearin' what I'm thinkin'. Inara: No one likes the idea of hearing what you're thinking.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, my:

ABC's hospital drama Grey's Anatomy, which has already benefited greatly from having the hit Desperate Housewives precede it on Sunday nights, will get another boost come Feb. 5 when it airs following the Super Bowl. Peter Horton, who directed the episode told today's (Thursday) Denver Post that it will be "sort of like a regular Grey's Anatomy on testosterone and on speed."

Hey, can anyone who saw Bones tell me how Special Agent Tricia Finn looked?

Dude! IMDB is doing episode pages! Rock on. Also, bye bye tv.com. I'm hoping.

TVTome.com was slow but good. tv.com is so annoying that I've just about stopped using the service.

SEE THAT RANT ABOUT CHANGING ALL THE TIME.

Apparently it dropped 62% in ratings, so you might not have been the only one. Not sure how the ratings compared to its normal viewership, though.

Art Crawl!!!

If I had a pony, I think I'd want one of these too. Maybe not in that color.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Nope, but maybe teacher's handle catastrophe the same way everywhere. :)

I just thought that it was funny that it was happening as both of us were changing classes.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I remember where I was when Reagan was shot, Challenger exploded, Rabin was shot, and 9/11.

Reagan yes (only vaguely), Pope no, Lennon no, Challenger yes, Rabin yes, Sadat no. Stuff that happened when I was in college and beyond, yeah.

The Loma Prieta quake in 1989 was the first earthquake I remember knowing about. Like, I'd heard of such things, but I'd never seen the outcome live on television. That and Pan Am 103 were the same year, right? I turned 14 that year.

I do remember afterwards all the adults saying that this would be our "Where were you when Kennedy was shot?" moment, but I have to say that 9/11 sort of blew that right out of the water.

Um, yeah.
