Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, maybe if you were in a coma for a year...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Well, I can't find the missing tax doc, so I guess I can't send that in tomorrow.

And now I have created a nice little mess of paper everywhere. I'm going to bed.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Poor msbelle.

I am almost halfway done with my tasks for the evening. Yay me!

Yeah, I just don't know what to do about this. My parents are not going to China: they're old and scared. Won't happen. And the rest of us are scheduling the rest of our year: hard to do that and keep an unknown week open to fly to Beijing.

And my brother, bless him, doesn't seem to see how difficult it is for the rest of us. I mean, don't we need visas to go to China? Gah, that hadn't even occurred to me...

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh yeah, great kid you have there.

Why haven't I been listing a dependant on my taxes? Damn.

Well, maybe if you were in a coma for a year...

Suddenly I'm thinking about a Scully abduction scenario.

Week of dressing dangerously: I don't like either of the first two outfits, but I like how she is reacting to them.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Why haven't I been listing a dependant on my taxes? Damn.
Well I was going to mention that but you get so defensive about the kid.

We'll all go, if possible. It just doesn't seem to sink in that it might take more than a couple of weeks notice to scare up visas, airfare, and vacation time. We don't all have UN passports, dude.

Plus the wedding's been called off/postponed so many times that I'm kind of losing my enthusiasm, you know?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Free at last! It's almost 6 hours later than intended, but I did get the impossible-to-fit project overview pages laid out and sent off to editorial on the date scheduled.

Now I just have to find a way to magically pull extra days out of nowhere, as one editor wants me to make sure production keeps on schedule despite necessary files not being released until a week after deadline. If I had a time machine that would allow me to make up 4 extra lost days when I'm scheduled to turn work in 3 days after said blown deadline, I would be using it to do something far more lucrative than my current job.

My god, you are in exactly the same situation, aren't you? The wedding was supposed to be last year, but last year was Year of the Widow, so they couldn't get married.

But my god, visas! And vacations! Bleah. There are, frankly, many places I'd go before China. Which makes me parochial, but I admit I prefer a place where I can read the street signs.
