The money was too good. I got stupid.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2005: the Year of the Penguin

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2005? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

But Fay would be in Canada! Canada is much easier to get to. There's no ocean.

brillig

There's no ocean.

There's no ocean in Utah, either. Fay should be in Utah.

I think everyone should be in Atlanta, but that doesn't seem to be happening. We have a big-ass aquarium, the world's largest piece of exposed granite, CNN and the Cartoon Network. Canada probably has better chocolate, though.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Canada probably has better chocolate, though.

Plus? State sanctioned orgies.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I had fun picking the pictures to put in.

They were brilliant.

I feel so super guilty because my giftee's prezzies are sitting here wrapped, but can't make it to the mail until Saturday morning after I get paid. I'm hoping that maybe it will be nice to get a surprise after all the other Christmas presents are gone. It'll be all "Happy Early January!".

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Stephanie, I'm glad you liked your gift. I thought the mugs might work with your newfound appreciation of coffee.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Package from Katie M!

Yay it arrived! I'm glad you like the soap. I waffled, I tell you, waffled between that and the lemon.

And FYI to anyone who might have sent me something--I've been in NY since the 23rd and won't be back in Washington until the 2nd.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Katie M, you're HERE?!?!?!?!

We should do a fun thing!

(well, unless you're not here here)

I'm going to assume that my Seekrit Santa present (which I sent on Dec. 19) was lost in the mail, which means I will repurchase, and resend it this afternoon.
