Goodbye and Good Riddance 2005: the Year of the Penguin

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2005? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Thrive to spite them

Quester -- I had a chance to look at the Cooking with Wine (actually any kind of alcohol) cookbook more right before I went to bed. With every recipe they list the correct wine to serve with it.

There are recipes for every occasion, including brunch, so I can start the day right with pancakes and omeletes with liqour in them.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Yesterday, I received from some mysterious person in the Chicago area, and poster of the Simpsons parodying Georges Seurat's Un dimanche après-midi à l'Ile de la Grande Jatte.

If this was from my Buffista Seekret Santy, Thank You! It's an awesome poster. I would link to an image of it, but all I can find online is the original.

Our wings are not tired.

I can start the day right with pancakes and omeletes with liqour in them.

Yay! I see another on board with the concept of rejecting sobriety in 2006.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

My gift will go out today! I don't think there's any chance of it arriving before Christmas, sadly. Apologies in advance, but I hope my giftee enjoys it in the new year.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Christmas only starts on 12/25, everyone! 12 days! Not to mention Chanukah this year, and Kwanzaa. The week between 12/25 and 1/1 is prime gift-giving time!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

HA! I was just coming to post that for you. It's like you are on a mission. Everyone should host 12th night parties in honor of Jesse. She is a one woman crusade!
