I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

If Wallace's absence was only story-driven, they could have still worked him in... my assumption would be (and I am talking out of my ass here) that it was to permit Daggs to work on another project. Or perhaps the reason for full radio silence of the character will come back later in the season.

What is even happening?

That was my guess too, Nora. I'm just wondering, because I'm working on a (pro-VM/pro-Rob Thomas) rant. There's a blog entry floating around fandom, criticizing feminists who are Veronica Mars fans. The first point the bloggers make is about race, however, and that although there are two African Americans in the opening credits, they've been gone.

I don't enjoy watching the character Jackie, and can see why (considering the lack of fan love, not to mention the actual plot) with Wallace's absence, we wouldn't see her while Wallace is gone. I was hoping to find out if there had been any change in Daggs' contract, though.

P-C, where are you, darn it. I have a screed (or rebuttal of same, I guess) in need of facts.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

P-C, where are you, darn it.

He's probably off watching Farscape.

Well, I'll have to go with what we know about last year's contracts. I think I can still make my point. Google is giving me no love, either.

i'm pretty sure Teddy and Percy are in less eps this year because they upped the amount of episodes Jason's in, but i wouldn't swear to that in a court of law.

What is even happening?

Okay, I'm hoping to do a series of posts (with a little help from Buffy) about this blog entry: [link] "TV: We're losing ground and now is not the time for silence."

My first installment, which limits itself to the bloggers' points about race, is up: [link]

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I can't make it all the way through that "critique". Is it ever mentioned that Duncan was also drugged when the "rape" happened? That's a crucial bit o' info that the writer conveniently leaves out.

I have avoided the article up until now, but i just started reading it and i can't get any further than the second paragraph. why? i'll quote.

She has to fit into the same cookie cutter mode. Actually, it's a smaller mode these days. What you see on the big three networks? It's a smaller mode than what you would have seen in the seventies.

emphasis mine. i think the word they're going for here is mold. i have decided since it only took me two paragraphs to find something to nitpick that i'm not going to waste my time with the rest of it. no head thunking for me today, thanks!
