Many happy returns of the day, JZ!

Somebody that I can't stand at work is quitting. Her last day is this Friday. I'm trying hard not to look as giddy as I feel about it. "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out, bitch!" Hee!
WindSparrow, sounds like Daniel is making good time! I'm so excited for you.
Thanks for all the support! Unfortunately, there is an aircraft carrier-load of construction in and around Albuquerque, which has caused him to divert to an alternate route. Well-travelled neighbors with much experience driving in that part of the country indicate the most likely alternate route is a very pretty drive, but hella longer.
What's the deadline on the tiara exchange?
July 15, more or less. That's a very big more or less, depending on everyone's schedules and teh accessibility of tiaras and the vagaries of shipping, etc.
Go Em with teh standing up! Wow!
GC's glee at departing co-wiorker is cracking me up. THat'll make for a really festive going away party.
"Don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out, bitch!"
Sounds like she deserves a going-away party...maybe next Friday?
These are called "wheels-up" parties in the Foreign Service, maybe the same in the military, dunno.
Emma's standing! Whoa, check out the impendingly incredibly mobile!
We may be starting Mal on solid food soon. I hadn't thought we'd start this early, but he's plowing through the food at a scary clip.

And without as much in the way of roadside stops. I'll keep the trip~ma coming. (btw, my FiL just moved to Casa Grande.)
Em now has 2 meals of solid food. Fruit and oatmeal for breakfast and veggie and rice for dinner. And then bottles at school and to go sleepies.
THat'll make for a really festive going away party.
More good fortune: I'll be out of town on business so I don't have to show up and act all, "Aw, I'm so sorry to see you go." Bye, jerk!
(If y'all knew all that had gone on with this person, you'd know why I'm so happy. I'm not normally so petty and vindictive, I swear.)
Happy happy birthday, JZ!
For some reason, the vindictiveness is delighting me.
As is Daniels' approach to WindSparrow. So exciting!
I apparenty scrape my right forearm on my desk while typing and/or mousing. The right sleeve of my jacket has no buttons instead of three buttons. Whoops.
