I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Had a bad moment of shock when the DVR cut off the end of Gilmore Girls, but was able to rewind through One Tree Hill and see it. Yay! Didn't notice Lorelai's breasts. Mrs. Kim was awesome. Rory is finally acting like a teenager, which is nice, but still kind of annoys me. It's believable, but makes me want to shake her. And I certainly hope Luke gets the house back. I thought him giving it up because Lorelai was "mulling" was contrived, though the walking across the street leaving bike racers strewn all over the ground in his wake was pretty damn funny.

House was really good. I've only been watching sporadically (when either Veronica Mars or Scrubs was not on/new), but this ep may have hooked me.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I have several screens of nonsensical posts written. Does that count?

No.

Also, I thought about watching House to see the Inside promo. Wouldn't Fox be thrilled that I am watching their shows reluctant just to see a promo of a show I do want to see?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's a shame that Jon Stewart is in repeats this week, because he'd probably be having the MP on his show. :-)

Coworker just urged me to "Smile! It can't be that bad!" which proves he has no survival instincts whatsoever. Social Darwinism in action!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

don’t be a twit

This is what I get for being helpful and inclusive? That's no sort of encouragement.

If "bitch" is being used on me as an insult, but as a result of behaviour for which I am not in the least contrite or critical of, I don't care. That's when I'm liable to smile and say thanks.

Surely the "Smile!" co-worker combusted shortly after that comment. That's just so wrong. It's the sort of thing that'll get you disemboweled.

What is even happening?

It feels like I've been betrayed by my best friend! I have turned to green tea in my time of need.
shrift. This conversation is scaring me too much. I never knew coffee couldn't help. I...I...I will not have this conversation. I don't believe you. I think you are a coffee bigot, and you've been putting yourself forth as an acolyte for all this time, when really, you've been working for some subversive green tea lobby. I wonder what else you've been faking. I bet you don't even write fic. Poser.
