[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Timelies! I woke up this morning to find I've already spent too much $.I found a book that I wanted on half, but the guy took so long to confirm, I found another one on e-bay. So now I have two, or I will. And I was only supposed to spend about $20, and now I spent close to$50.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

dude, I have suffocated the thread with my noxious schmoop. I'm sorry!

Sorry, too busy drooling over the thought of dinner at Blue Ginger to post coherently.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Yay smoochiversary!!!

It's also Z's birthday, and I decided that the theme this year was "pampering", so I booked a massage for him and gave him a gift cert. for a pedicure at the "men's salon". I just hope he wakes up in time for the massage....

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

garden gnomes - garden centers - bed bath and beyond? I have one my sister gave me one year - it is carrying a book under it's arm

If I only had a brain...

I'm ok, but I started on a new AD today, so no sleep for me.

SJ, your psych ought to know this is a standard side effect and ought to PRESCRIBE something. I used to be on Trazodone, now I'm on Elavil (for the migraines, but it's also a sleep aid.)

The downside: Kafka dreams. Today, I was dreaming that I broke glassware in lots of peoples houses and I begged people to say that they knew I wasn't doing it on purpose and they stayed silent and I lay on the floor sobbing with nobody talking to me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ack, Betsy. We know you wouldn't do that on purpose. Unless it was the really hideously ugly painted glassware I saw in a store yesterday. I'll help you smash that stuff if you want.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The grandmotherly nurse practioner with the prescription pad in the behavior health part of my HMO seemed appalled that no one had offered me things to make me sleep along with antidepressants. Not sleeping was one reason I had given up on them before.

Garden centers are probably your best bet for instant gnomes, vw. Sometimes places like Target carry them too.

So. Excited.

Something like Michaels, or Walmart, would be my first guess. I doubt you'd find them at Bed Bath or that ilk. I haven't seen them, anyway.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Or Gnome World. Or Gnome Depot. Or Bubba's Garden Gnomes and Croissants.
