Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

This is hilarious: An artist went to the four major New York museums, the Brooklyn Museum, the Met, AMNH and MOMA, and installed his own artwork:

What is even happening?

Dear Kristin,

You're going to get snowed in AT SCHOOL! And the administration will decide to hold impromptu contract negotiation talk role playing seminars. They expect you to lead the exercise.

Holy crap:

According to the Times, Bob Barr, a former Republican congressman leading the coalition, says that rolling back the sweeping powers of the Patriot Act is now "the single most important issue" facing the Congress

Bob Barr?

Maybe they really have started to overstep their bounds. Bob's no "moderate republican," he's card-carrying lunatic fringe.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It is now the Supreme Court or nothing.

Yeah. Except I thought I read somewhere that Jeb Bush is trying to persuade the FL state legislature to intervene. Despite the fact that they already have, and had their law declared unconstitutional. Other sources don't mention this possibility.

I suppose if the Pope was feeling better, they'd be trying to get His Holiness to intervene too.

The Pope has his own army minions guards, right? Maybe they could launch a strike against the hospital....

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Huh. I guess even the true blue neo-con fans think Bush has jumped the shark.

I read that too.

On the other hand, reading various excerpts from the judges' decisions is making me huge fans of theirs. Like that part of the system, at least, is working.

I bow to no one in my dislike of Bob Barr, whom I have cordially despised since he was the state attorney general. He has, however, been opposed to the Patriot Act since the beginning. I was startled to find that he actually was a conservative. I did get a bit dizzy contemplating that I was agreeing with Bob Barr. I suspect it's a sign of the apocolypse.

Apparantly, many judges still think that separation of powers is a good thing.

If I only had a brain...

separation of powers is a good thing.

But... but... what if there's a WRONG DECISION?
