separation of powers is a good thing.
But... but... what if there's a WRONG DECISION?

Oh, in that case, Jesus wants Congress and the President to fix things. Can't have those activist judges basing their decisions on the rule of law....
Stephen Colbert cracked me up last night.
"Separation...and POWER!"
"Uh, Stephen, don't you mean 'separation of powers'?"
"Jon...oh, Jon."
t shakes head in a "You're such an innocent..." way
I don't think the FL legislature is going to do anything. The first attempt to pass the law was over turned immediately as being unconstitutional (that was last year), this year's attempt didn't get enough votes. It doesn't look like anyone is going to change their vote because anything that's passed will probably be deemed unconstitutional as well.
Tom, that was awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Of course, now I want to put artwork up in the major NY museums. Of course, I'm foiled by my lack of appropriate artwork to hang.
Cindy and Kristin are making me giggle.
Brenda is making me feel ignorant. I haven't the faintest clue who Bob Barr is, or of when they started rolling back the powers of the patriot act.

Yes, this.
I just coverted someone to fitday like a spaz.
I also just did work that is not mine to do, just to be nice. my own work is sitting here being ignored.
Oh don't worry, Alibelle, they haven't. Barr is a former congressman from Georgia, normally one of the craxies, but (as Ginger rightly points out) being a stand-up guy in this fight. They [his newly formed coalition] want to - get this - restore checks and balances.
Tom's link is teh funneh. Especially cause 2 of the 4 artworks are still up.
I remember Bob Barr being a nut, but wasn't he kind of a libertarian nut? Anyway, I have vague memories of his harebrained tax ideas, most of which sounded like, "Oh go pave that road yourself, you victim of the parent-state." Or am I confusing him with someone else?

Oh, okay. I suppose it's good to know that the world is still all upside down and backwards then?
A co-worker was being grossed out by my food tales (hard to talk about mannish water without using the word "testicle" or any of its synonyms, but I think I conveyed my message) and then tells me of how he used to drink raw eggs from the coop when he was little.
Hello! Pot calling the kettle full of offal!
