F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm still thinking Cleveland sounds terrific. How central-ish is it considered?

I'd say "central" includes anything between the Rockies and the Appalachians. Which makes Denver and Pittsburgh the biggest border cities.

but I put in 72 votes for earlier rather than later, to avoid touron season

Yes. The bag limits are high enough, attract too many hunters.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I put in 72 votes for earlier rather than later, to avoid touron season, and because NOLA or any other warmish locale may be a degree or two cooler before the end of May.

I'd put in a vote for absolutely no earlier than May 14. There will just be too many conflicts with finals and other things then.

I can't even.

I'm trying to find out the dates for the next year's version of the work conference that tried to screw me up for this year's F2F, but I guess I could always fly in (or drive to Cleveland!) on the Saturday morning. That conference would end either on the 20th or the 27th usually. My mememe preference would be to avoid that weekend (and I'll know shortly which one it is), but I'm good for any of the ones around it.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm just catching up and I wanted to say that I'm planning to see Nilly, probably on the West Coast leg. When the time comes, I'd appreciate a corner or suggestions for a convenient hotel, because I want to avoid renting a car.

I can give you many reasons why Atlanta would be a great place for the F2F, but it's definitely east coast. Atlanta in '07!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Regardless of what location we decide on, it's almost certain to be a warmer rather than colder location, as most Buffistas prefer the warm

You think so? We seem to have a lot of dislikers of le heat.

It's not the heat, it's the stumidity. Dude, put me down for le dislike. Give me sunny, low 70s, light breeze and I'll be your pal 4evah1. Funny, Toronto in late May-early June often has those conditions. Coincidence? Hmm.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It's not the heat, it's the stumidity.

For reals, man. If DC was humid, I don't want to think about NOLA.

The status is NOT quo.

No no! New England in '07!

t wrestles Ginger for the ballot

t loses

ETA: Actually, Atlanta is gorgeous in May while New England still can't make up its mind about what season it is. Hmm. And the Wild Rumpus is an annual event.

Never mind!

I can't even.

Okay, got confirmation from work, my NOT-preferred date is May 28th. Any of the others would be much better for me.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

DC wasn't humid. At least, I didn't think it was. It was quite pleasant.
