I'm just catching up and I wanted to say that I'm planning to see Nilly, probably on the West Coast leg. When the time comes, I'd appreciate a corner or suggestions for a convenient hotel, because I want to avoid renting a car.
I can give you many reasons why Atlanta would be a great place for the F2F, but it's definitely east coast. Atlanta in '07!
Regardless of what location we decide on, it's almost certain to be a warmer rather than colder location, as most Buffistas prefer the warm
You think so? We seem to have a lot of dislikers of le heat.

It's not the heat, it's the stumidity. Dude, put me down for le dislike. Give me sunny, low 70s, light breeze and I'll be your pal 4evah1. Funny, Toronto in late May-early June often has those conditions. Coincidence?
Hmm.

For reals, man. If DC was humid, I don't want to think about NOLA.

ETA: Actually, Atlanta is gorgeous in May while New England still can't make up its mind about what season it is. Hmm. And the Wild Rumpus is an annual event.
Never mind!
Okay, got confirmation from work, my NOT-preferred date is May 28th. Any of the others would be much better for me.
DC wasn't humid. At least, I didn't think it was. It was quite pleasant.
SA, I was going to say that, but I was afraid I'd be thwapped. I know it may have seemed humid to the truly dry-air folks, but it really wasn't bad at all compared to how it gets later in the summer.
There was a breeze and everything. Like, seventy degrees all weekend. I don't think we could have asked for better weather.
It was like swimming except for the not being in a pool.
Signed,
So Used to the Dry Desert Air.
