S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

DC wasn't humid. At least, I didn't think it was. It was quite pleasant.

The status is NOT quo.

SA, I was going to say that, but I was afraid I'd be thwapped. I know it may have seemed humid to the truly dry-air folks, but it really wasn't bad at all compared to how it gets later in the summer.

There was a breeze and everything. Like, seventy degrees all weekend. I don't think we could have asked for better weather.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

It was like swimming except for the not being in a pool.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Like, seventy degrees all weekend.

Actually, it was in the nineties. I admit it wasn't nearly as humid as DC can get.

I can't even.

It was like swimming except for the not being in a pool.

And being wrapped in saran, but not in a good way. The pool was great for getting the skin temperature down, briefly.

We get humidity, but later in the year, so I was totally not acclimatized for it (still had winter fur, I guess).

Like, seventy degrees all weekend. I don't think we could have asked for better weather.

Except for the part where it was 93 degrees. 70 would have been a bit non-swamp-dweller-friendlier.

Huh. Felt good to me. Guess I have those horrid Kentucky summers to thank.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

MM, if that's how you feel, don't ever come here in August. You'll need scuba gear.

I didn't think it was too hot that weekend, but the humidity was excessive for me.

However, even knowing that beforehand, I'd still have come. And I'd go someplace hotter and more humid as well, 'cuz 1) Buffistas, and 2) who know where we'll go the year after that that will be nicer for me but less pleasant for somebody else. It's only for an extended weekend.
