Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Popping in to see if my first freaking CD has shown its sad face at Angus's place yet

Not yet, Ple, but I wouldn't necessarily have expected it yet what with an ocean separating us. (I get the feeling that by the end of this thing there will be one person mailing 20 CDs at a time!)

Hec - Has Hayden sent you my mix yet? I don't mean to put pressure on Hayden; I'm just curious.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to put you in a spot -- I haven't forwarded Kate's mix to you either!

By the way, Hayden. We definitely have a place to stay during SXSW, but I'm wondering if we can hit you up for a couple of guitar amps? We might be able to borrow from another band on our bill, but I want to make sure we're covered.

Not a problem. I have a '64 Princeton Reverb (a real one, not one of the reissues) & a 70s era Twin at the house, and can probably lend you our guitarist's reissue Deluxe if need be.
