I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I knew that topless lady had something up her sleeve. - John Prine

Boucher is French for butcher. I had a co-worker named Boulanger, which means baker. Don't know what candlestick maker is in French. The third guy in the office was Tomas Antona, the singer/songwriter from Alice Donut. Nice guy. Very tall.

Up with the sun

Those are puzzles? That people do for fun?

Ayup -- I liked them a lot when I was a kid, though I haven't seen one in a while. I don't think I got any on the GRE, but the whole analytical section was kind of a blur of square roots and areas and angles for me.

No worries on Hec's CD, Tina. Good to know it's on its way. Plus, if it gets here today or tomorrow I can send it on with yours.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I used to love doing those logic puzzles too.

Hec - Has Hayden sent you my mix yet? I don't mean to put pressure on Hayden; I'm just curious.

Uncertainty could be our guiding light.

Kate, the next two CDs are on their way to you today. I had to wait until payday!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I haven't received your mix via Hayden yet, Jon.

Hayden! Look, Auteurs tabs. You should do "Lenny Valentino" - great riff.

And to confirm DX's final ordering, I came home today and found a package from Halifax - it's from Sue! Track 6's title is my first name. Woo hoo! And just in time for VDay, Sue sent along a "Happy Stake in the Heart Day" valentine featuring our favorite slayer. Thanks, Sue!

Jon, my list and notes are here.

Me too. They're almost too easy these days when you can use a spreadsheet to help keep track of all the relationships.

Listening to Sue's mix - liking what I've heard so far. Just one question: How can the Weakerthans hate the city that's home to The Burton Cummings Theatre?

Just one question

OK, one more question, Sue. Were 19 and 20 accidentally switched or did you intentionally hit us with Madonna when we were expecting REM?
