An ... interesting list of "conservative" pop songs.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
:rolls eyes forever at list of conservative songs:
:wonders when religious belief and love of one's country became conservative values:
:realizes she doesn't really want to know the answer to that:

Awesome, Joe. I'm heartbroken I couldn't be there.
HAPPY MARRAIGE JOE!!!
Congrats, Joe and bride!
However, I could get you a record by The Ass Ponys if you really want.
Hey now, that sounds interesting.
And they're from Cincinnati.
LOVE the Ponys! In high school and college, I was overly fond of plastering my walls with as many Ass Ponys posters/flyers as possible. t /dork
ION -- More signs of the apocalypse....
Thanks, Corwood. We were sorry you couldn't make it, too. That's Eliot on my left; his sister, Rose, Katherine's best friend, is on the right (FIL & SIL in the background.) You can now put a face to the message when you trade emails. He looks about six inches taller than I do, but that's just the photo. We're exactly the same height and I have a much bulkier build. Also, it took nearly four months, but I now have an answer to your question about ever updating my blog: yes.
msbelle, thanks, and I apologize. I thought MC was going bring you as her date/guest/sidekick, but when she cancelled a couple weeks before the wedding I completely spaced on asking you directly. We'll be having a party (or maybe a few) to get rid of some of the wine & beer left over from the reception & we'd love to have you there. (I was misinformed about how much was left when the caterers asked me if I wanted to take it home or to return it. They said three or four cases. Turned out to be nine cases of wine/liquor and six cases of beer.)
On a musical note (no pun intended), here's the band who played the wedding. There are a few clips, although the sound quality leaves something to be desired, and there are none from the EP, which is closer to what they played at the wedding - in fact they did a great rendition of "Moonlight Becomes You". I'm sending it to buffistarawk, but it doesn't seem to be going through. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. C'est la marriage.
Also, it took nearly four months, but I now have an answer to your question about ever updating my blog: yes.
