Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey now, that sounds interesting.

And they're from Cincinnati.

Lilty, you really need to come to San Francisco and have fun. That's after you move to Somerville and have other fun.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

My goal for next year is absolutely to come to California. And just think, this year my goal was only to get on a plane, and now, after Chicago, I'm going to Europe! Maybe next year I'll end up on the moon!

Good fucking plan. I think we'll have P-Cow out here by then. (Hoping hoping.) Of course, he may be in Kansas City too.

Here's my take on Lilty: Pretty, Funny, Interesting, Fun, Should Move to California.

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

Oh how I love the grab bag concept. I would buy TEN!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Grab Bag yields Mighty Mighty Bosstones!

Wow!

ION, still listening to Top 40 radio from London via Internet. Just played Aretha's version of "I Say a Little Prayer."

Need I explain further why I prefer commercial radio from the other side of the Atlantic?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

The Decemberists just announced a mess of new tour dates for the fall and they're selling a limited number of discounted tickets to all the shows. Sadly, I'll be in Paris during the New England dates (I know -- woe is me!).
