Now I now want to see Nick Hornby do an update of High Fidelity that includes eBay.
I hope that guy gets a decent price for his stuff. $5,000 seems too little, somehow.
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

I listened to the Fresh Air interview with the Go Betweens and was then compelled to go online and buy the cd.
Once you buy one, you'll find that you need 'em all. Well, the good ones, at least.
Oh, I've got at least a couple of Go Betweens albums. . . in one form or another.
In honor of the day, Canadian music!
Emusic now has the Dead Milkmen. Excuse me while I go be sixteen again for a while.
Speaking of Canadians, I... uhh... acquired the new New Pornographers album "Twin Cinema" last night. At first listen, not as strong as the first two, but I need to give it more time.
Polter-Cow, that's a damn fine list of music.
Thank you.

"....the important thing here is that we get to the part where you ask me how I'm gonna get down to the shore."
"Oh, how you gettin' down to the shore?"
"Funny you should ask, I've got a car now...."
When I drive past the kids
They all spit and cuss
Cause I've got a bitchin' Camaro
And they have to ride the bus!
