One of my fondest NYC memories is when, many years ago, I was visiting my best friend there and we ordered waffles and cigarettes to be delivered at midnight.

You might want to invest in a little Krav first. Though Emmett reports that his teammate in Double-A, Eli, dyed his hair platinum blonde for the summer.
Want to go to the Rio wedding for the music, the cute gay nephew, the dirty joke telling groom and the pretty Rio.
A) Does anyone know of a good way to find, like, band practice studios for rent? Is there a national network of these things? I've tried looking locally, and can't seem to find anything.

Richard Thompson interview & performance on Soundcheck today at 2. Should be archived by late afternoon if you can't listen live. He's also doing a free show at the World Financial Center tonight at 7. New Yorkers who haven't seen him definitely should not miss the opportunity. Besides having thirty-five years of great material of his own the man is a human jukebox (long before he started doing his 1000 years of popular songs shows) and he has almost no constraints when performing solo so you could end up hearing just about anything.

If it helps, we miss that too. All the good delivery services have gone out of business -- though freshdirect.com is da BOMB. You gotta get their cookie dough on your next visit.
