Zoe: Captain will come up with a plan. Kaylee: That's good. Right? Zoe: Possibly you're not recalling some of his previous plans.

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Thank you, sweetness!

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

I cannot, cannot, cannot wait for that "is that who I think it is" album. In fact, I believe I am going to buy their EP off iTunes tomorra. Will report back, although if I say anything other than "it's fab!" you can all chime in and say the classic "who are you and what have you done with erinaceous?"

Oh, and I am looking for songs about dresses for my new blog. Which I think I mentioned here before but I can't find it so forgive me if you've heard this one before.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, and I am looking for songs about dresses for my new blog.

I presume you have "My Favourite Dress" by The Wedding Present.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Oh, and I am looking for songs about dresses for my new blog.

Would Bowie's "Fashion" work?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I downloaded the free version of the MusicMagic Mixer that's now included in Roxio's BoomBox Suite. I haven't really sat down to play, but out of curiosity I picked out The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony' to see what it would give me for a mix. Among other things, 3 Clay Aiken songs.

Mebbe I shall let my iPod's soul be it's pilot.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I may have lied. That music mixer is like crack. (Or, will be, once I've deleted all the useless shite I ripped for no reason off my computer.)

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Sleater-Kinney: One More Hour ("That dress you wore, those pretty shoes")
Hole: Asking for It ("Angel dust and my dress just comes undone")

They aren't really about dresses but they mention them and they're good songs, too.
