Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Ann, that's a ferret.

msbelle, let's add Lulu. Not least to see how Prince would arrange "To Sir With Love."

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

(Does Lemmy have a last name?)

Isn't it something like Killmeister?

But I think was with Ciccone and Bono/Allman/et al, it doesn't count. If you've heard of him, you know who "Lemmy" is.

Lemmy has no need of a last name! It would only slow him down, man.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Besides, Bono has a last name. It's Vox. Seriously.

Just a reminder for any Austinites, Bubblegum Music Is The Naked Truth is the theme for the Alamo's show on Monday, April 18th.

Up with the sun

Yeah, but I think even he realized that looked dorky pretty fast, since it usually only comes up when the name is being explained. The weird variation is when someone decides to call him Bono Hewson, which I've seen a fair number of times in early '80's articles.

(Is Edge the Edge's last name, and The a first name? I have never seen Edge Evans. I guess it's easier to be mononamed if you're a guitarist.)
